Ranell…I am thrilled I found your site and delighted with all the lovely quilts you have done. I just remembered your house in Carpenteria filled with fabric and crafts. From the pictures you look very happy with what you are doing and what a joy that is in this brief time we get. I have never gone to a blog before so I am not sure what will happen to this once I send it how into hyberspace…I hope it finds you and just know an old friend from you college days was hoping to find you well and happy. As ever, Trudi

      Trudi,
Oh my gosh! What a surprise to hear from you! How come it takes this long for old friends to reunite? I guess it was life, or no internet or something else. I have just, in the past two years reaquainted with Terry, my freshman room mate, and Carpinteria Local friend, and Ann Gauvin, my Graduate year room mate who now lives in Alaska. I still have some photos of you somewhere… you know how that is, the stuff gets buried deeper and deeper and then it kind of worms its way to the serfacel How are you? Where are you living. What are you doing, work, life, etcetera… Lets keep in touch by email and hopefully be able to meet some time soon. Thanks for visiting my blog.
      Talk to you soon.
      Ranell

    Greetings!
Love all of your quilts, snapshot into your life, and enjoyed reading about your quilt life journey. Sounds as though things are magically going well for you, especally as you have infused your life with such a wonderful, creative outlet.

I loved your post regarding Leroy and roadkill! The “new” bookshelf found a great home, and I am sure he’ll soon find you other great finds!

Love the picture of your grand babies, especially the clown costume — your sewing skills never cease to amaze me.

    Kindest regads – Gilda

Hey Ranell, I know you from the guild and from the show at porch. I was
Surprised that grateful dance won viewers choice because I don’t like
That kind of thing. On the other hand you have done some work that I
Like very much and some quilts that are amazingly creative and skilled.
I’ve heard you are a good teacher and I’m glad you will teach at Treasure Hunt. You might now want to reconsider joining our Carp satellite group.
We have a very consistent core group that has met for eight months.
These are hard core quilters several of whom are looking for or paying, in
One case a lot of money, to long armers. This would give you an ideal
Client base. I have a gam mill premier but no time right now. Sue Davies
